Elea, please edit your data either into this first post, or into Ellie's shop check data. I've posted all of the pages here, because a computer tech is coming to replace my motherboard (again). If something goes wrong, I want to make sure the pages don't get lost.

Also, if you guys get bored, feel free to edit your data straight into the pages. :O But tell me if you do, and tell me exactly how much editing you do. *nods*

Every Weekend we check all the shops. If you don't upgrade

according to the rules one week, and the next you upgrade double, that is NOT taken into

consideration. In a month you can get 1 point for each week for following all the rules. I will not

deduct points. So each week you either get 1 point, or none at all. These are the things I check

each week:

<li>Updated singlebanner 
<li>Upgraded according to rules 
<li>At least 2/5 of your max stock. If your shop size is 100, you can stock 500 items, and need to

stock at least 200, unless you have all items in you category. (If you have all items, please let Kiki

or Amy know). 

<li>Less than 5% non-category

<li>~= Mall leaders
<li>!= Recipient of 5 + signs. See + sign below.

SoTM, since we only get to pick one. Razz

At a glance shop sizes:

<li>No shops may join with a shop size lower than 75
<li>75-90: 3 upgrades per week
<li>90-130: 2 upgrades per week
<li>130-150: 1 upgrade every week
<li>150+ upgrades optional but recommended.

Many of you follow all these rules every week, so when we choose the SotM we have to use our

individual judgement as well. We look at special things you have done like the Unbuyable Case

from Album, explanation on your category like Gourmet and Card. This is very different from shop

to shop and not all of you can have the same things, but we'll see if you have done something

special to ease the shopping experience for the customers. If you have had a very high increase

in your shop size, that can come into consideration as well. But the basis to get the final

evaluation at the end of the month is to follow the rules. If you already have been awarded SotM

you have a slightly lower chance to win it again. 

We know this can seem unfair since it is what we like that makes the decision in the end, but we

can't really think of a different way to do it when 8 shops are competing in the end, and all have

<li>If you want to leave the mall for any reason please give us at least a week's notice. 
<li>If you have a problem or question regarding these rules dont hesitate to Neomail Amy or neomail Elea. 
<li>Note for those interested in joining UU Malls: In your message (however it is sent), be sure to post "Amy, I've read the UUMRI. 
<li>Occasional failures to follow the rules are tolerated. If a member fails to follow the rules a few times, they may receive an unofficial warning. 
<li>However, if members consistently fail to follow the rules, a 5 official warning system is in place. For the first warning, the member will be placed on a one week probation, and at the shop check that week all items in their shop must be correct. If they fail this probation or if they begin consistently failing to update again, a second warning will be given. For the second warning, a two week (and two shop check) probation will be given. A third warning is a three week probation, and a fourth warning is a four week probation. After this, if the member begins to consistently fail again, they will be given notice (the fifth warning).

1) Is there a cost for joining the mall? 
- We don't directly charge fees for joining the mall. However, both malls put up notice 
board banners every week. These cost a few thousand np per week per member. We 
let members donate as they have funds. If our funds run low, we may ask our lowest 
donators to donate some, but this happens only rarely. Generally our members are 
sufficiently generous to keep up our funds at quite acceptable levels. 
2) How much np should I have before I think about joining a mall? 
- This really depends on which category you're filling, and what size your shop is. You 
must upgrade enough to reach level 75, and have enough np for the weekly upgrades 
after that. If you're curious about how much that might cost, let us know, and we can 
calculate it for you. For your initial stock, you have to have at least another 300k for 
less expensive categories. For a more expensive category like maps, we suggest you 
have at least a few million np to spend on your initial stock. And the more np you 
spend on stock, the more rapidly your shop will be large enough to be truly 
profitable. 
3) Is malling actually profitable? 
- Definitely. When you first start out in malling, it may seem as though you're 
spending and not really earning much back. In order to keep sales moving 
you'll have to price only slightly above shop wizard prices. But as your 
shop becomes larger, and your unique stock increases, you'll be able to 
charge gradually higher amounts for your items. Eventually this will lead 
to significant profit. And once you reach main mall size, profits can be 
massive. Very Happy

The information here is updated weekly and shows the number of SoTM points each member has. These points and the other data on the scoresheet are used to determine the SoTM each month.
